The Amite Chamber of Commerce would like to congratulate Verges Dental Center for being selected as April's Branch Award winner. It is businesses like Verges Dental Center that have helped shape and prosper our flourishing community.
Verges Dental Center has been in Tangipahoa Parish since 1998 when it opened its doors in Kentwood serving the dental needs from Independence to McComb; however, their new office in Amite opened in January 2017.
Currently, Verges Dental Center of Amite employs 5 citizens from Amite and the surrounding areas.  When the Amite office is running at full capacity, they expect to employ approximately 16 people.

Did you know that at Verges Dental Center they LOVE to eat! They have a jar with the names of all the restaurants in Amite and every Thursday they draw a new place to eat!
A WORD FROM THE WINNER... We are excited about having restored a historic building and making a positive impact in downtown Amite. We plan to serve this community for a long time. We provide a full range of dental services so our patients don't have to drive outside of Amite to get their dental work done.
One of the things Verges Dental Center is most proud of are the reviews we receive.  Our patients compliment us the most on how personal their experience was and how comfortable they felt at our office.  We are proud to say that in the few short months our Amite office has been open we have been very involved in the community. We participated in Kid's Safety Day, Rotary's "A Christmas Miracle Path for Flood Victims", and have walked in multiple parades. One of our favorite things to do is to take Toothy, our giant tooth mascot, to the local schools and teach the students about good brushing habits and healthy snack choices! Our next event will be at the upcoming Hood Memorial Health Fair where we will be performing free oral cancer screenings.
